Back in the Junior Year, we conducted a project related to DPHTX. To mention some of the specifics:
1) Gained hands-on experiences while constructing a DPHTX using bolts, gaskets, flanges, hydraulic lever etc.
2) Studied the convection heat transfer through the pipes and investigated the corresponding temperature gradient.
3) Analyzed the safety factor, pressure drop and the market cost of the designed model.
The project work was done within the budget and on time. The cost balance sheet and the requirements of the overall instrument are included in the excel sheet in the Project section.
